Advanced Prediction Method That Works (Pretty Much) Every Time. Understanding Life on the Battlefield.

Ripening of Karmas in Dasas
These are the very simple, yet precise rules for dasa planets activating Karmas. They revolve around one key concept that I think is the most overlooked in Vedic astrology: Rulerships.

Everything we do, as it related to precise Vedic astrology work is going to revolve first around what the planets rule, (and their functional nature) not necessarily where they are.
I have been using this formula and fine-tuning it for more than a decade – and making very accurate predictions as a result. In Dasa cycles, karmas are produced based on the planet as a:
A: Karaka
B: House Ruler
C: Dispositor of a Planet in its Sign (in harmonic charts as well)
D: Dispositor of a Planet in its Nakshatra (Only applicable to Rasi Chart)

There is no hierarchy in the above list. Look for a confluence of factors to see what the most prevalent issues will be.

Pay close attention to when a Dasa/Bhukti cycle lines up with the Bhukti planet ruled by the Mahadasa planet.
For example: A Mercury /Jupiter cycle with Jupiter in Mercury's sign (Gemini, Virgo) or Nakshatra (Aslesha, Jyeshta, Revati) will be very active for showing major changes relative to what is indicated above. (the planets as Karakas and rulers)
Look for these factors in the rasi chart and harmonic charts.
Look for planets that are both karakas and house rulers to impact with more force. (EX: Jupiter is both the Karaka of children and the 5th house ruler for Leo)
Look for 2 or more of these factors (for example both the karaka AND the house ruler) to be active when BIG things change.
Planets activate the raja yogas they participate in as well as show those influences
Nodes ONLY rule Nakshatras, but also give results per their "yuti" (conjunction) with Bhava lord (Per Parashara). If no Yuti, then ruler becomes important. (especially important in Vargas, as there are no Naksahatras).

In Harmonic Charts Specifically

Evaluate the Karaka in the Varga Chart (Venus in D9, Sun/Saturn in D10, etc.)
Notice the Chart Ruler in the Varga (E.g. in Sun dasa, a Varga w Leo asc.)
Notice the important house / house ruler in the Varga (7th house/ruler in D9, etc)
Planets retain their nature as rulers and karakas in the Vargas.

A Few Overlooked Factors That Must Be Considered

Functional Nature of each planet (as a Ruler, functional benefic/malefic)
Yogas (especially classical Raja Yogas - Angle/trine lords intermixing )
Dignities of planets
Aspects (Some do not consider in Vargas, but I do)
Exchanges

For years I have said, to "advanced" students, those who have been gathering data for years but still cannot read a chart correctly, that they do not need to gather more data, they just need to comprehend and deepen their existing knowledge.

You might think, "great, that is what I am doing, watching videos, yours and others, and I am really starting to get it". Ok, well that is good that you are interested, etc. - but you need to also be STRATEGIC about what you are taking in. You need to apply the "P&S" Principle.

Years ago I realized that Vedic astrology was being massively overcomplicated in the way it was being taught. This is mainly because teachers did not have a system in place. Instead, it was thought that someone needed to be “gifted” in order to understand and practice astrology. But again, that is not really the case. Vedic astrology is like any other subject that you can learn, if you go to a college and want to learn it. At least I know it is for those who study with me, because I have broken it down to these levels first - then the complexity is added on top.
